Step 7 · Wrap with Landscape Fabric

Pull the edges of the landscape fabric that were folded up the sides of the trench over the top of the gravel. This creates a filter envelope that keeps soil out of the gravel while allowing water to pass through. Overlap the fabric generously to ensure no gaps.
